Are there any place where you can hire kiteboarding equipement in sydney?
Or any place where they have test material to try?

Sorry guys but for Liability reasons, No shop to my knowledge would "Rent" gear unless you were very well known by the shop as a competent kiter.

Contact any Kite School - they "may" do that. They'd be the best bet, but you'd probably have to use it near where they operate. You most likely won't be able to take it to Ours in 8 foot.
