I kite in Sydney fairly regularly. What are you into Flatwater (like me...) or waves? There are a few spots to go... Where in Sydney do you live? I kite at Botany Bay for flat water, and I sometimes go out to Longreef and Narrabeen when they have wind (like never...

I'm weigh 85kg and I mostly ride my 12m. I ride flat water on a 140cm TT Cabrinha Custom... so I would think the 12m would be good for you...
However, it is going into winter and I'm not sure what the coming wind will be. I think the 12m will still be suitable, but maybe others can chime in...
