are there any lakes near canberra that you can kitesurf on?

I hear you can kite Lake Burley Griffith and lake George if there is water in it but i don't think either spot is not for beginners.
better idea to head to the coast I am moving to Canberra in september and will be doing coast runs to kite.
Also I would search the forum for Canberra posts and reach out to local kiters.

but honestly no idea. thought the same thing about lake jindy and a few lagoons around the place. wouldnt be keen for it in winter

Yipee Zarb, those round abouts in canberra look great and another choice spot would be that big grass hill in front of that building with the funny looking flag pole
