Hey dudes,

moved to Bondi a couple of months ago, and live with a friend who kitesurf as well.The problem is that our schedule interfere so we don't get the change to go very often..

I guess it's a lot kiters around Bondi that just waiting to get out on the water? I'm busy these weekend, but drop me an mail if you wanna join some day.. got a small car (2ppl + gear). Would be good if you had some experience kiting so we can learn from each other, been working as an instructor the previous year.

Hi!

I also live in Bondi (Tama), and my flatmate is also a kiter... Found another French kiter thanks to this forum who also lives in Bondi

We are going on Saturday, probably around Gerroa if it's not raining, so if you guys want to join, that's cool!

Hey there!

I just arrived in Sydney yesterday! Didnt know one could kite at Bondi! Im currently staying at a friends in ultimo. would be really nice if some1 could give me a lift to a kitespot, cuz theres no car here. Also got some experience (backloops,frontloops,kiteloops,switched,blind,jumping..) Just give me a call : 0429 508 016

go somewhere else. you cant kite in a ****ty beach with lots of people and lifeguards. you will get killed. find somewhere in the bay

Well, i didnt intend to go there for real.( red marked on the map :P) i just wondered people could kite there.. :)

But if some1 is near the center of Sydney, got a car and goes for kiting id like to join in. I have been at Botany Bay yesterday but using the public transport and walking through the city with my stuff is quiet annoying^^

Forgot this thread, see know that you replied a while ago :-)

Picker: I had no intention to kite in Bondi, I simply wrote that I LIVE in Bondi and got the car so I can go to other spots.

Froggy: Bit busy with exams for the next 1/1,5 weeks, but I'll give you a call after that! Btw, Gerroa, isn't that really far away from Sydney? Is the flatwater there really good, or what's the reason why people from Sydney goes that far?

Hey Excelsior!

Gerroa is a waves spot, it's really great, and worth the 2h drive! Last time, we did a 10kms downwind, surfing waves for 1.5hrs

Last week, I tried a new spot under Jervis Bay, just AMAZING!!! Crystal clear water, flat and waves, dolphins, just PERFECT! But 3.5hrs drive (we camped overnight).

This WE, I'll probably stay here and try Botany on Sunday. If anyone is keen, just keep an unpdate on the forum.

Hey guys and gals
Looking for someone in the eastern suburbs area who kitesurfs and has some spare room in the car on their trips to botany or other locations... Happy to help with the petrol costs just want to ride as much as possible... happy to give guidence to beginners. are there any sites that have reliable wind forecasts???????
