Good day,
I will be in Sydney this week-end, well, I'm leaving Melb tonight...
The forecast for tomorrow Friday is pretty gloomy to play tourist but looks great for kite (despite the rain)
Manly beach forecast says 2m waves, wind that looks to be just in the correct orientation, and enough wind to fly my mate's 9m kite...
www.windguru.cz/208682You probably know that poor Melbourne kiters do not have so many occasions to ride waves, so really looking forward to get some if possible this week-end...
I found 2 threads about manly beach,
one where it looks like there are people kiting in Manly
www.seabreeze.com.au/forums/Kitesurfing/General/To-idiot-kitesurfer-in-Manly-with-blue-beanie/The other where it is said to be forbidden
www.seabreeze.com.au/forums/Kitesurfing/General/MANLY-BEACH-SYDNEY/What the truth?
Any alternative? My friends live in Mosman and I will be using public transportation tomorrow, so Manly was really a good option...
(also planning on surfing in Manly Saturday and / or Sunday...)
Is it possible to kite in Hunters bay (also I imagine I won't have waves there...)?
Thanks for local insights!
