Guys,

Is it a real difference in wind conditions between Narrabeen SLSC (Middle) and Collaroy (FlightDeck High-raise Building) ?

I can see guys usually get going pretty well up to the north of the beach, but I'm struggling with my equipment during these average North-East breeze days when wind doesn't go over 16 knots (yellow marks on North Head Seabreeze page).

Does Narrabeen lake gives that additional 2-3 knots momentum? Or it's a pure low wind skill that I still have to master?

I used to live there and I found there is definitely more wind up the north end of the beach. I am not sure why. Maybe collaroy of plataeu makes a difference.
