Bit of a random post but i have to fly to Sydney from Melbourne tomorrow around lunch and staying at lake macquarie this Fri/Sat/Sun.

Pretty simple question and hoping for a simple answer.....

Q: With the weekend forecast looking like it is....can i kite somewhere there??

I dont know the area but need to work out if i should bother bringing my kite and board down on the plane? If you think its a no go for the weekend please say, then i will save some cash on plane luggage!
