What's with the wind around here !!! Or should I say what wind
Another crap summer , wonder what winter has install .

Supposed to be 20-21 knots right now, reading at the airport: 7 knots
I was planning to take tomorrow off if the wind was as predicted: 15-18 knots all day... will it happen?

I just got back from living six years abroad. During that time I learnt to kite but before I left sydney I was a keen sailor, out at least every saturday. For the summer months, where mid nov - late feb you were pretty much guaranteed a NE 15knots+ . Coming back for the last few christmas' and now that I have moved back permanently, I can't believe how inconsistent the wind is here!
When I left there were water restrictions, draughts and it never rained, so I'll put it down to el nino. That said, I'm looking forward to the old days of wind all the time, but will it ever happen?
