How many of you kite during winter when the wind is good?

Has anyone been out today? Almost 40 knots. If so, how was it?

nobody out except 1 crazy ass wind surfer. Surprisingly smooth wind at dolls but the the charts say gusting . Will prob give it a go around 5pm

Hey who you calling a crazy ass windsurfer! :-) That was me, i am also a kiter but it was a bit hairy for kiting today!
I was hanging onto my 4.2 and on a 69 litre board but was touch and go for a bit...
was fun though!

It's southernly so why Botany? Long reef tomorrow!

I am fine with gusty conditions (a wind speed of let's say 22kn with lets say another + 5-10 kn of gusts sounds good). I learned on continental lakes where this was normal 3 years ago.

But I am not sure about the about of water moving around Wanda even though I love my surfboard. Any comments welcome.

Woah yeah that was pretty crazy on saturday. Worth getting out there though
