Hey guys,

I am coming down the 2nd half of September for a work project and plan to stay a week for kiting. I plan to visit my father in Newcastle. What percentage of the days are windy that time of year in that area. How windy is it?

If anyone ever comes to Seattle I am happy to help them with the kite spots.

Hey Gabe, late September/early October is the transition period between the winter north-westerlies and summer easterlies so it's really kind of a hit and miss.

Although around newcastle good spots for both directions are within easy reach (Nelson Bay comes to mind)
