Hi.
I'm hoping for a bit of advice. On a switchblade 3 with the power drive control bar, how can I get more depower. With bar out at full length (past the stopper) the kite is meant to fall from the sky. I find it's still flying. How do I get that extra bit of depower into the kite.

Thanks.

It won't depower and fall from the sky. It should depower quite a bit and slowly decend to the window edge.
The first Switchblades to totally depower were the IDS introduced in 2009

Not familiar with that kite but do you want it de-powered that much for it to fall from the sky? Doesn't seem right to me at all?

If your finding the kites too powerfull in general then I'd say your using it in it's upper range, it could also be stretched power lines which opens the kites face to the wind and gives an increase in power
Attatchment all 4 lines to a fixed point( nail in post or similar, go to your bar and fully power it at the trim adjustment, pull bar in to chicken loop
Ideally under tension all 4 lines should be the same with your bar within 100 to 50 mm from chicken loop
If you've a kite shop locally or knowledgable rider maybe get them to show you

Thanks for the tips. Checked line lengths.
Centre lines were too long. Have adjusted and it's now flying as it should.
Thanks.
