Hi, My centreline on my 9m naish helix is really worn, can i use a 12m core gts bar for the 9m until i get it fixed?
The line lengths are equal on both kites, will the 12 bar affect the flying of the kite?

I use a bigger bar on my 8m sometimes, just requires a little less input to turn but you soon adjust, no worries.
Can't comment on the different brands but generally if lines are equal length and safety system is similar then it's OK

You shouldn't have a problem. Below the bar depowers such as the helix and earlier naish parks do wear quite easily. I get a bit more life out of them by waxing them. Heat some candle wax and dip your rope in one section at a time. Twist the rope a bit to open up the thread and rub a bit of wax in. Putting too much on will make it difficult to power up or down for a while until it wears away to a good level. I prefer to put a bit less on rather than have the hassle of it being too thick. Repeat with the other areas that tend to wear easily.

Thanks heaps the wax thing sounds good will def try when i get new rope cause always wears at the 2 into 1. With the bars they are both above bar depower with the 2 tabs 1 to depower then other to release only thing is the safety might be different. The naish helix u have to attach the safety to a little metal ring at the v of the 2 centre lines so when you pull safety you are hooked to just 1 front line. With the core the safety loop is inside the chicken loop also flags one line so not sure that this will make a difference?
