hey guys, I am a beginner kiter with an older 2006 Cabrinha Crossbow, I am about to make the jump to a new kite and have been recommened the above kites as a trade in.

I am happy to do either one of these and are leaning towards the CORE as I like the safety set up, and the engineering behind it but have also read some great reviews about the Slingshot.

Any ideas? Advice? Anyone ridden both that can provide some netural light onto the subject for me. I am only be able to trade for one of these not any other brands so limited in that respect.

Not flown the Core but can defo vouch for the Rally for a beginner kiter.

Its REALLY easy to fly, Heaps of depower, Absolutely cranks upwind and has an awsome bottom end. I got one as a lighter wind kite to complement my RPM's..

Relaunch is super easy to. I got a 10 and have been riding in 14 to over 25 knots with it. Easy to ride powered and underpowered. Its like a tractor in those light winds, just pulls you along effortlessly (compared to some kites).

I'm really stoked with it. Like i said really easy to fly, just dive it a little, stop it and it just goes, you can really forget about it. Bridal is awsome to, its so small, no pully's. You just stick your lines on and dont have to worry about them being tangled or anything as theres only 3 bits of short line to it. Nothing to tangle when you crash to.
