The designer/owner of Griffin Kites replied to your post on the day you posted and offered to help you... Did you contact him as he suggested??

There's not so much traffic on this section of the forum. Did you send him a PM as he asked? I'm sure he'll get back to you. He'll be busy at this time of the season but he's a very helpful guy.

Try 26 BB default as he suggested.

PM me if you're stuck

Yeah i guess he's busy,i've had the kite a month and haven't been able to use it as i'm a newbie and didn't know how the bar and lines connect to the kite and bridle as the previous owner had the bridle and steering lines all joined together and the only setup i'm used to is a 2008 cabrinha convert, think i've worked it out now ??? though would still be handy to have the manual

Hi Martyflyer, I replied to your message fairly fast asking for a contact email address which you only provided yesterday, so will get you the details you need.

Give me a call on 0417733383 if you have any questions.

To get started, check the attachments are on default ( green )
And when you fly your kite unhooked it floats nicly with no back stall.

If you have not had lessons or are unsure make sure to get qualified lessons.

As you have a 2nd hand kite that came out over a year ago so I have no idea what the previous owner may have done to it and it may need tuning if your using a different bar. The bridle is a standard setup like the cabrena IDS and Fone and Bandit kites etc so nothing unusual.

If your not sure of something let me know and give me a call.

I have emailed you some images on the bridle setup, you relay must get IKO lessons if your getting into kiting, I am a iko instructor and you learn very important safety tips that every kilter should know. If your a learner, get lessons. Some one who is good value: kitepassion.com.au/ ( this is not us BTW )
