Hey

I wanna fit a 5th line on my fuels but i can't decide how to do it. how did you put it on yours?

i wanna have it as a flag out line so i could leash to it, so i need a line to go through swivel down to the bar.
- can i use any line or does it have to be thicker?
- could i also use the bungee and put a line on that? does that hold?
- the front lines are not the same length on the compstick bar - so i need a new frontline?

thank you!

cheers

thanks for the video! but i ride a compstick bar and i don't want the 5th to be fixed on the swivel, i normally don't depower the kite so it can stay the same length,

does anybody ride his fuel with a 5th?

Only when I ride my 2006 n 2007 FUELS... they come with 5th line set up. You don't need 5th LINE set up on new 1's.. they compromised performance for kook proof Launchability and massive range in the NEW 1's...girl's even ride em!

Hi mate. You need to order a 5th line kit from the likes of Switch or any other brand. Then you need to shorten your current flagging line to be the same as your other line that stops at the Swivel. Then you run your 5th line through the centre of the swivel and through to your flag ring. If your luck enough to come across a 800lb line that stops at the swivel then you can have all centres lines with 800lb lines but it's not necessary. It is important that your 2 centre lines are the same strength. Then run some extra line to your centre attachment point and if you have a 2015 or newer you could run a V split.

thank you! i didn't think of that! gonna see if i can get a switch 5th line kit! i'll see if i can find someone who can shorten my frontline and then i'm set.

the switch kit is 23m long, so it goes down to the swivel - can i use a normal line to attach to the ring under the CL or should i buy a bit a bigger one like a depower line?

Yeah mate you will need to play around with the lengths but the best option is to run pigtails at the point where the bar lines attach. That way you can adjust your centre line length as the other lines stretch. Cause the Fuel already fly's suburb on 4 line you won't need to run perfect tension but more so slightly slack.

It was to give you an idea. Any 4-line bar can be converted or added to have a 5th line, especially if the kite requires it.
