After an incident over the weekend, where I lost my kiteboard; I've decided to do something about it.

So I did this (not my video) and yeah - it works.

It's the exact same effect as the GoJoe and the new Foam GoJoe, and it auto uprights the board too! Problem solved.

Cheaper than learning how to body drag.

How long have you been kiting for anyway Lofty NorthernKites, and still can't bodydrag?

It certainly does the trick!

And you'll be able to also afford a snag or 2 while you're at bunnings...and a meat tray.

My question is rather what does the TT do in the surf?

The TT is excellent for burning middle aged mid life crisis noobs like yourself in the surf

Luckily I have a few more decades before that happens.
But judging by your grumpy post, you must be right in the middle of it. My condolences.

Yes way cheaper on the muscles. Stuff body dragging if I can help it.

You'd have to remember to wear your boardies over your wetsuit, or people might think you are a kook

i dont get the function of this. Surely your board floats without this? and who cares if its facing up or not when you recover it you can just flip it around in 1 second?

Ahh but the question is ... "when you recover it". Sounds like you don't get out there much

The video is not a good example as the waves washed in the board, it looks onshore and it looks like the kiter is standing up. Out in deeper water and cross-shore winds if you come off your board and its upside down it will sit there while you keep getting pushed more downwind. When it is upright it drifts downwind so you can bodydrag upwind to get it. Worst case scenario you can lose sight of your board, the bright inflatable thingy helps you spot the board. Not that I ever used one or recommend it...
