So out kiting in some light winds today, wind was dropping out at times then picking up.
I was doing everything to keeping momentum moving the kite etc.
At one stage and i dont know why i started pumping the board over the chop. Much like a surfer does on a wave that gets fat.
Anyway I convinced myself that this really made a difference, so anyone else do this???
Might be useful in getting yourself down wind if there's another kiter coming towards you on an opposite but similar tack. You'll often see kiters on twintips pumping the kite in this scenario to drag them downwind so they can pass under the other kiter.
