Hi everyone.
I would like to start kiteboarding and have read some posts on needing pro lessons.
I have done some internet searching and cant seem to find someone local who teaches,Illawarra NSW.
Like many others i have done the youtube lessons, am looking at getting a trainer kite but as of yet cant find a local school.
I dont want to drive to sydney as I am currently very time poor ( besides the fact I hate Sydney ).Does anyone know of some where in the illawarra that teaches.
Cheers.

G'day mate i'm in the illawarra and have heard that a bloke called Tony Armstrong does lessons his number is 0488845483.Definately get a trainer kite and practice your kite flying skills and good to watch the progression kiteboarding beginner d.v.d then less time wasted when it comes time for a lesson.

Give tony a call, he will help you out. Though this time of year is going to be hopeless to learn, due to lack of wind. Get a trainer kite, yo will be able to get the hang of flying the kite in under 15 knots with that. Trying to get lessons now will be of little use, as you will struggle to get some wind until the southerlies or westerlies hit. And these are definately not winds to learn in.
