Completed lessons and just purchased a 10m Ozone Reo.

Ultimately plan to ride a surfboard doing downwinders down the coast however need to develop competent board and kite skills first.

I weigh 79kg so what would be an ideal learners board size (probably riding at Pinnas, Melville and the City Beach to Trigg downwind run)

Don't want to spend a heap on my first learner board but also wish to progress...

If you've had lessons and can get up and riding, 130-134 for your weight. If you want a strict learners board go bigger, maybe a 138 that you can always use as a light wind board down the track.

Recommend 134 North Crossride, the best all rounder for Riding in chop, waves and flat water. Now have North Team Series, the ultimate.. GB
