Hi Guys,
I'm new to kite surfing in Sydney. Looking for anyone in the same boat or people in general that are keen to head out together?
Had an awesome lesson with Kitepower and have bought a kite/harness to learn on.
Will probably look to do another couple of sessions body dragging and get comfortable with the kite before trying out the board.
I can chip in for transport or can rent a GoGet car easily too if you want to share rides.
Hit me up if you are keen to go together and help each other out! I'm free in the weekends and keen to go as much as possible.

Hey manlykiter, I'm quite central in McMahons Point, North Sydney. Happy to go either way (Northern beaches or Dolls Point etc).

Hi, I am in Wollstonecraft and usually go to Botany on my motorbike but why not sharing a GoGet someday.
I am no expert, but I think you will have a hard time on the northen beaches as a beginner unless the surf is nice to you.
Make sure you check the tide before rigging at Dolls and don't forget to mark your name on your board as you WILL lose it (and hopefully recover it right away, but for that time when you do not...)

Hi all - I'm in the same position as some of you - just bought my kite (yihaa!!) but in the body-dragging stage of life. I'm heading south (from Dee Why) to Dolls Point tomorrow at around 12.30pm if anyone wants a lift/to share newbie notes

In a few weeks once my rib heals I'm in.
Based in Narrabeen.
Can body drag. Not super great up wind but OK.
Can kind of get up but not great either - no transitions etc.
