Guys looking for some advice on what kites to buy!im about 85kg 5"10" male.i really like d north range of kites.can anyone recommend a good kite and size for this time of year and also on average how often is it possible to get out on melbourne winds?looking to do freestyle/freeride mainly
Be very careful kiting Melbourne winds in winter months, the wind is usually due to weather fronts and can be very gusty and unpredictable compared to summer sea breezes. Wind strength can change 10 knots in a matter of minutes and catches many newbie unaware. Learn to read the weather, black clouds on the horizon can be a good sign to come in..good luck.
