Hello all, I'm the proud owner of my first ever kiteboard. I'm a bit of a numpty, and I'm worried I'd smash it to pieces when I put it in and out of the storage unit.

I'd like to put it in a hard-ish case to protect it as I get it in and out of the storage unit.

Any recommendations? I'd be happy with a hard cardboard box and some padding... but struggling to find one the right dimensions.

I'm just wondering what everyone else does?

Cheers.

Any padded soft cover will provide plenty of protection.

Cheers AE,

it's just finding one tall enough without being too tall... I was looking at Guitar cases, but they're not tall.... or wide enough actually...

The search continues....

Just use a small surboard case and cut off the tip and sew it up of just fold it over

Mystic sell specific kite board bags and travel luggage for kite surfers. A bit pricey but cheap insurance overall. Check em out!

I wouldn't worry about it too much. After a few good sessions, you'll wonder why you ever entertained the idea of asking this question

Soft, padded board bag is all you needs, unless you intend to travel on planes.
