Hello. I tried out a mates board the other day and was amazed with the pop it generated and the ability with which it could stay up wind. Made me think it is time for an upgrade from my 1st board.

I currently ride a cabrinha chopstick 139. Currently living in WA. I am looking for a board that will help me progress through advanced kiting (currently doing frontloops/backloops/transitions etc)

I will only have one board so it needs to be a good all rounder, size and board.

Any recommendations?

Cheers

Sounds like youve outgrown the Chopstick - great beginner board (esp the bigger ones) and has its niche for rough water long distance stuff. But its a bit of a dog for free ride & certainly wont help you up the curve with your tricks.
Grab a demo of a Shinn Monk - for aggressive riders in all water conditions (but esp choppy/flat) this is the go-to board for 99% of those who try it. If you are regularly in waves (or not so aggressive) then imo the Dundee is unbeatable.
At 76kg the 132 would be about the middle of the range that you would find suits.
Give me a call if you have trouble finding a demo
