Hi there, first time in Australia is coming up for me and I'd love to kite there!
I've been kiting for 7 years, mostly twin-tip, some tricks, and comfy enough to surf in small waves (1-1.5m). My girlfriend's still learning (just a few seconds staying on board so far), and would do well with consistent wind and flat water. I did some research and it seems like high season ends in January, but mid-March is when we're landing in Brisbane.
Would love tips on:
* where to go, if there are any beginner friendly sports
* where to stay
* what time of the day the wind blows, strength and directions, and how gusty...
* how many days a week might be windy
We'll probably rent a car, and I suspect we'd need it. I'll also need a board so if there are good options for a week or two (rental from school or people, etc). Any tips are hugely appreciated!
Thanks so much!

Not sure if the link above works, if not, look further down on the QLD thread for map of site locations. Plenty spots for beginners on Sunny Coast.

Thank you. Looks like the wind direction will generally be SE in March? Is it fair to say that Noosa area has more beginner-friendly spots than near Brisbane?

A beginner friendly spot in a SE wind near Brisbane will be Sandgate.
