Hi guys,

Im on the search of a new kite and Im quite undeceisive on which on to go for.

Im looking at 6-7m kites, North Rebel and Vegas. Some people say that it might be hard to start with (as Im a beginner) and some other people say that I should go for it! Im also taking a look at Slighshot RPM, but I dont really want to buy a kite that will put my learning curve very steep, although Im sure they are all ace kites!

Any suggestions for a 55kg girl that is learning?

Any advice highly appreciated!!

Depends on what style your headed toward....
But i suggest a 3 strut surf kite like
Switch element 4.... 5 7 or 9m .
Great kite good drift good depower easy relaunch and around 7 to $800 brand new.
I have 5 and the build quality is as good as my ozone edge v8.
You would go from beginner to Intermediate and beyond with this type of kite.

Rpm would be a great kite to learn on. Prob easier than the Vegas and has bigger wind range.

Vegas has a small wind range and the Rebel a 5th line which is a pain in the arse if it gets wrapped up in the kite if it overflies you. If your looking at slingshots have a look at the Rally. So many good kites out there. Most surf kites are good beginner kites as they are stable and quick to relaunch.

^^^ agreed. There is no need for a freestyle kite in till your unhooking and even then you can unhook on most kites. Anything from a bandit, park, ts, dice, switchblade, envy. Everything but a c kite. Unless you like the pop and drop boosts, or need lots of line slack there is no need for a c kite.
5th lines are definitely a pain when starting.
