Hey everyone.

I've been riding for 6 months now after being converted to the sport from wake boarding and loving every bit of it.

Recently i have noticed in the stronger winds we have been getting that my point of depower is much further down the centreline then when i started, but with riding almost every weekend of course your going to get some stretch in the lines.

Having a spare day free i assessed my bar & lines only to find out i have been riding with my centreline over sheeted by about 10cm's.
After following the tuning tips provided on Cabrinha's website by adjusting the outside lines i managed to reduce the sheeting to 7cm's.
An improvement but not good enough. Cabrinha's ideal line length should have no over sheeting from the chicken loop.

So my question is, how can i shorten my centre lines? So that i don't have any over sheeting.
I'm hoping not to have to replace the lines as they all look in good condition, compared to some others i have seen in use.

Cheers.

Thanks terminal, but this video only describes how to adjust the outside lines. I've already adjusted these as much as I can. Still got 7cm's of over sheeting.

The centre lines should have an adjustment point the same at the other end( down near the bar.)Had to do mine a couple of weeks ago.
Have a look there and adjustas required

The link goes to the right video when I click it.

This is a similar Youtube link for the 2011 bar.

Hey guys, just un update on this, finished tuning my lines last night ready for a big Saturday session.
The 2011 tuning video was much more specific then the new one currently out.
I might in my spare time document this process in detail for anyone else needing to tune.
Also im hoping i dont get much more stretch on my lines, my outside lines are lengthened to max and centreline depower lines still got maybe 2 more adjustments left in it before replacing the lines.

thanks steez for the update. im looking forward to your writeup on adjusting your lines. I have not adjusted mine for 3 years hahaha but have noticed it has been kinda overflying me and trying to frontal stall, ive grown used to this and am afraid correcting it will make me unfamilular with the kite. let me know how you go now that youve "fixd" it. as im worried like an old pair of hiking boots they just never seem the same once resould.
