I found it was hard putting straps on at first, you get better.

You should fit fine with is 9 feet, unless they are for kids.

Get rid of the straps. Ride it like a directional. Why not? More fun too!

Take it to a kitesurf shop and get some bigger straps fitted.

Mate. if it's that difficult to get your feet in then persisting wit this set up is just going to be too hard. At this stage of learning you don't want something as fundamental as this holding you back.

Might be re-stating what's already been said here, but it seems unusual that you can't get a size 9 foot in. I wonder if there's some hidden adjustment that you're missing, so, first thing I'd do is get someone (really) experienced to have a look at it for you - maybe your instructor, or someone at the beach that looks like they know their sh1t. People are generally happy to help. If that doesn't fix it then, as suggested above, go to your local shop - you might be surprised the cost might not be all that great.

To be honest, a 2004 board isn't much different to a 2015 board, sure they look slick, might be lighter and more durable, but for what jukesy will be doing, there won't be much difference unless it has hectic rocker.

You can change the straps on that board
Undo the screws once you get the straps off
You will see three different settings on each end
Of the straps under the plastic washer thing .
I have this board in the back of my garage and
Have adjusted them before .
