All,
As the winds have become more unpredictable and offshore, Dept of Recreation has advised kiters with less than 2 seasons experience cannot go out until the new season in September.
Intermediate and advanced kiters can go out but are advised to sign in and out and wear an approved PFD.

I got a warning from a ranger so be aware it could be $150 on the spot fine.

I think this is a great idea. Where do I sign?
But jokes aside, there is a discussion going that only local rate payers will be allowed to kite the respective spots. All others will have to pay a daily fee. We will of course also have to pay the same fees when coming out to Armadale doing whatever

Isn't there now a toll at the pond where you pay per tack? Also fines when people jump the line. Could be expensive!
