Thanks Gilly,
I was thinking trying it heelside as I tend to lose speed more than during a toe side carve, dunno why, toe side i find i stick my rear hand (coming into the turn) in the water every time, maybe that keeps me away from the kite more?
Is there much 'feel' going on in the loop or do you just yank the bar down frontside and follow the kite? Also do you want to be looping as you're still heading into the turn or when you're headed at the kite or is it ok to be looping and still carving off the other way?
Congrats on the move acitta! did you get the move toeside and heelside? when you said you wanted to be ready to 'switch to your other edge quickly before the kite is on the opposite side of the window' is this when the kite is coming back up to twelve and you want to carve around with it? or do you you want to be ready to bail on the move and rail back to your approach side?
I am also hesitant to give move tips as well ! But that tip is directly as it was told to me, so I feel ok handing it on. but to share what little I have learnt anyways,
OK mate I will try and break it down the best I can.......
Come into the transition as if you were doing a normal heelside carve, so, do your switch ready for heelside and start sending your kite to 12.
Release any edge you have and start to turn downwind.
Once you have released the edge and your kite is at 12, initiate the loop (yes there is feel in the kite it will be pulling you round the turn nicely) and as acitta said you will need to fully commit otherwise your kite will hit the water with you riding towards it. That equals slack lines + kite inverting

.
I wouldn't say it's a yank on the bar but be firm and don't back out. Making sure you start from 12 is the secret, it shouldn't generate tooooo much power if you do this part correctly. Yes your kite will be looping riding through the turn but as your coming out of the turn the kite should be coming back up to 10 (not back up to 12 as you mentioned, it's less than a 360o loop) with you riding off nice and composed and a grin from ear to ear

.
Your lines will be crossed, so spin the bar and correct them when you get a chance.
Once you get it, you will wonder what all the fuss was about! It's a good one to practice on those lightwind days as I mentioned before....
Oh, and bigmarks tip is spot on as well!
