Hi,

have had some trouble with my kite back stalling etc, thought it was bad flying but read about equal line lengths (also says this in the core manual) and when i checked mine they are like 15-20cm out. So i adjusted the lengths to be equal by pulling the adjustor strap (depower) kite flies so much better but now cant depower it further... anyone know how to permanently change the line length without the adjustor strap? I have watched the cabrinha vid adressing this their lines have allowance for adjustment, the only thing i can see on a core bar to do is cut the middle lines and loop em?

Maybe try to increase the short line rather then reduce the long line? should give you more depower, or meet it halve way?

My middle two lines were unequal length... I hooked up a Ramset plug with a long bolt sticking out of the wall in the side of my house... Hooked them both onto the bolt and stood at the other end..

The line that was shortest, I leant my weight against it until it stretched to the same length.

My kite handles better and it worked a treat

Get a pack of pigtails like the ones from Ozone or Cab on this page and then add one to each of your rear lines, then check your lines again but make sure the trim strap is let out all the way, the lines should all be equal with the trimmer all the way out. When you pull on the bar it should be just short of reaching the top of the chicken loop.

Just make up a couple of longer pigtails for your outside lines to get your overall length the same.
If you make them longer with a couple of extra knots you can use them to partially depower the kite for stronger wind days.
