Hey guys,

Looking at getting into the sport - just wondering how compact the kites become once disassembled?

I have a Honda Prelude (its soo tiny)- will most kites fit into it fine?

Cheers.

I have a mazda mx-6 and fit 4 kites and 2 board, even if it's a coupe. I can put the back seats down tho, I dont know if you can with yours.
But even without putting them down, I can just put the 2 boards on the passenger seat, even if one of the boards is with boots, so pretty big!
So dont worry about room in your car, that's what's handy with kiting, you can pretty much put it in every car.

I have a honda accord euro, i have plenty of boot space, but can only fit my 132 board in the boot. My 140 has to sit in the back seat with my surfboard. Kites all pack down well, some bags compress the kites more than others when packed up.

I can comfortably fit 3 kites, board, pump 2 small totes for wetsuits harness etc.

Kites aren't a problem- boards can be.

I bought a roofbox for gear and can get two boards, two kites and all my other gear in there. Nice for keeping sand and crap out of your car and also means the family can come down to the beach if they want.
