Whats the adv/differences of each?
I tried out the new Naish Fly yesterday, it was loooot of fun just difficult to stay upwind (managed just took effort), felt like was being pulled by a truck..
Haven't tried a big board yet (like the Sector or a surfboard etc) but wondering what i should expect and which option i should go for..
Def easier grabbing a second board out of car if wind dies rather than pumping up a 17m kite but will a board do the trick on a 11knt day as well?

I would highly recommend demoing a large board. If you want to get out in any wind then a race board is the go, but a 138-140cm board (no rocker and wide tips) will be more fun when the wind comes up.
I have a very large light wind kite, in summer in a constant 15knts wind then it is fun to kill time when others cant, but you still need the big board so start there.

I was out on my 8m and 135 TT last night just powered up in gusty winds. Swapped the 135 for a 149 chopstick TT and it felt like I had gone up a few kite sizes and the lulls were gone.
Definitely has got me thinking about choice of board for light / gusty conditions
