Hi Guys as per the subject im looking at getting a 2nd kite. for the formalities:

Seasons Kiting: 1 (this is my first)
Ability: pretty good at not having to do walk of shame now and just ride in and out of the same spot
Current Kite: North Rebel 10mtr 2008
Interested in Riding: just open water, not really after beach / wave riding just enjoying the ride out at the moment.
Weight 90-95 kilos.

im wanting to stay with north "Just because"... im happy to have another kite but have no reason not to stay with them so i was looking at essentially a bigger kite to deal with smaller winds (ie the 15knt mark).

I have found that i need 20 to really get going on my current kite.

My question is:
Should i get a 12 or a 14mtr? Im worried that a 14mtr is 40% increase in kite size and may be too powerful???? but im worried a 12 isnt big enough and wont give me the additional power i (think i) need. I was looking at 13 but no models seem to be sold 2nd hand (north that is).

General rule of thumb is that you should stick to 4 mtr gaps from what i understand??? anyway, happy for some advise :)

Hey Davereid, i think the reason you can't find any 13m Rebels second-hand is that North have only recently started manufacturing them. They'll start appearing on the second-hand market eventually.
