Hi all, when my kite lands in the water directly downwind, what is the best method for relaunching? Should I move around 90 degrees or try to relaunch from where it is?

Thanks

YOUR QUALIFIED AND REPUTABLE INSTRUCTOR WILL TEACH YOU ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT RELAUNCHING. UNTIL THAT HAPPENS, YOU SHOULDN'T BE KITING.

i just pull on one turning line slowly and does the trick every time, though my kite relaunches really easy slingshot T3

Really hard to help if we don't know your gear??
If old c kite lots of swimming involved to roll kite onto it's back then bottom follows.
If newer C kite then less swimming pull the centre line till kite is almost on it's back then use below method.
if newer model hybrid or bow kite then usually you sheet out and gently grab an outside line slowly pull it in and kite should turn and start to relaunch.

If it has 4 lines pull the outside line and it will launch
if it has 5 lines use method in above post
if it should have 5 but You only have 4 swim like he'll towards the kite until it rolls onto it's back.
