A couple of times, through my own lack of ability, I have stacked my BWS and then had the wave smash into it and roll it inside out.
Not a full roll just 1/2 a role so the struts are on the outside
Usually I just hit the quick release, come in and sort it out on the beach.
Is there another way to sort that mess out or should I just come in?
I was worried about ripping my kite.

Someone told me once if the kite is flying inverted, pull in an outside line until the other three lines are slack, it should take its natural shape and correct itself, feed out the line and (hopefully) it's all sweet. I've done it twice now on my GT and it seems to do the trick.

Cheers Chriso,
I'll give that a go.
Me, Peta and the kids are coming up to Lano next weekend (26,27) so hopefully we'll see ya up there

If you invert your kite easiest way to sort it is to land it back down on the water downwind and then swim towards it flat out so its flat down facing you, then grab an outside line to spin the kite into the wind then relaunch.

hey Moons just crash it and go towards it so it can roll back over. It only takes a minute but you will probably find your back lines will be twisted through your front lines so then it's just a matter of throwing your bar through your lines. (easiest to do this on the beach)

Thanks Scott,
I'll try to remember these methods the next time I eat it,
Which shouldn't be that long

I gave my kite a ten minute wash cycle at Wedge today, nothing was going to get that kite back in the air except time spent back on the beach resetting it all.

... and as it also turns out time at home adjusting the unexplained but recent stretch in the centre lines.

I cleaned up this thread as brand bashing is simply not cool

As we all know kites of all brands, sizes, colours and flavours roll inside out.
