Couldn't find a topic like this on the forum. I hope it's not a repeat

I'm pretty much ready to go start my kiteboarding experience however I'm unsure which of the many kiteboarding schools to go to in Perth.

Anybody able to recommend some good ones?

Hey thanks for the quick reply. Those guys look pretty good. They let you have a go on a training kite as well as part of the first lesson.

I have some kiteboarding mates so only going to have 1 lesson. Do you think that'll be sufficient?

Hi Doggfather,

You need two lessons unless you have had reasonably extensive trainer kite flying experience. Your buddies will be fine to take it from there.

Mates can teach you how to ride fairly easily, but usually fail at trying to teach you how to be safe and independent. As a soon to be member of the kitesurfing fraternity, you owe it to your kiting mates to be as safe and as well versed in ALL the parts of kiteboarding, not just how to ride. Especially if you are going to ride at Melville .

Cheers,
