That's an easy fix for someone who wants a brand new kite for half the price!
...although it is a Cabrinha, so i can understand he's now seen the error in his ways.

Nah......I fixed one worse than that.....
.... a few hours north of Geraldton ( so the middle of nowhere ) and had no choice either repair or waste a few days of kite holiday.

I used about 11 sticky canopy patch repairs and a hairdryer. It took a while but the kite flew fine for the rest of my holiday and was still flying fine three months later before I had it professionally repaired.
After it was repaired you couldnt even tell it had been ripped............not sure that will be the case in this situation though as it would be hard to match the Cabrinha material pattern.

But as long as you are not worried about its looks it should fly fine..............

If i was the seller I would get it repaired and keep it...... Selling will bring no joy the market for kites will wane as we enter Autumn not much happens in winter and by Sept Oct the new seasons kites will be out making this another season older.

Clearly a beginner so Id say fix it, use it, trash it ...and buy a new kite once you have improved and are no longer smashing your kite

I would swap it for a pair of jousting sticks.
