Hi jenna,
No reason why it should not fly the same after the repair.
You said it was professionally repaired. If so, find out who repaired it.
Ring and ask whoever fixed it, if the bladder was changed or repaired? Might have brand new bladder in it.(bonus)
Either way, if it was done professionally, you should have no probs.
I have repaired a number of bladders and Leading edges, with no effect to the flying characteristics or strength of the kite.
Often the kite is stronger where it has been repaired.
Maybe the super elite kiters would be able to tell the difference, but I doubt it.
"Apart from that the kite is in excellent condition". Have you seen the kite in person? Don't just believe in word of mouth or pictures.
Best of luck
Thank you, I actually just rang the guy who repaired it and the whole bladder was replaced.
I saw the kite just yesterday and its in much better condition than other second hand kites that ive seen from kite shops.
Buying a second hand from a private seller is a leap of faith though, but why buy a new kite as a beginner and specially when it looses its worth after the 1st year of use?
Thanks to you both for your replies! :)
