Hello team,
New to the sport and want to get stared on the right foot. I live Alkimos and want to know who's best up north. I don't mind driving if the instructors the boss
also want to know if kiting up this way is safe for a newbie? I'm considering an ESDS for some protection from our fast swimming grey fishy friends of ours?
any help is good, happy days

Christian/AKS at Pinnaroo is your closest and best bet. There's also little point in driving an hour south to save a few dollars with an instructor who can't speak english.

Loads of places to kite, especially if your estate has opened up beach access but beware that there won't always be other kiters and crowds like Pinnaroo but if you find a few people to kite with, you'll be ok. Most of the beaches are a lot deeper and choppier than further south and there is plenty of marine life around but i wouldn't be too worried.
