Hi all,

Just wondering if there is an official way to log hours for future reference such as for schooling

from memory IKO just does a competency test, then you do several logged hours after you pass the whole course.
No need to log your hours just kiting around.

Do you mean as an instructor or as a student?

If you're an instructor you can log teaching hours on the IKO.

If you're a student - there isn't really any way to log hours, what you can do is register on the IKO (using the card you would have been given if you learnt through an IKO Instructor or School) and then it will log the time you've been kiting for.

Only think I can see this being useful for is if you actually want to become an instructor as you need to have been kiting for a certain amount of time before you can take your instructors course - in saying that, it's been about 4 years since I did mine so things might have changed since then..
