Hey guys,

My current 5/4 wetsuit is becoming too warm for me on the hot summer days, and so i'm thinking of getting a thermal rashie. However, i don't know what to get for my legs. I want something to cover my entire legs for sun protection, so long as it doesn't keep me too hot. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

cheers

These Inverted summersuits are the answer to all of your questions.

This is the only place I can now find anything on the Inverted summersuits.

http://wetsuitwarehouse.com.au/gear/product/Inverted_Summersuit_Diving_Neoprene_Wetsuit_Watersport

Unfortunately they are only selling size medium. but for less than $30

3 seasons ago I purchased an XL sized suit for $40 online.
I noted the RRP on the site above is quoted as $119

Upside is that you only have to sunscreen hands, feet & face.

The only downside is that it is probably best to wear boardies as well
(No need to open the boardies over wetsuit debate....its been done to death ).
There is a breathable lycra "gusset" in the lower groin, good for cooling but not a good look, especially with a seat harness

Check out the early kite videos in the early 2000's. The euro's would wear tracksuit bottoms. Looked very stylish. My bet is get a pair of Lycra bike pants. (you will need to shave your legs though. They should work fairly well.

Try some of the sailing gear.

Might have to cut the foot straps out of it as they are designed to wear with booties.

If anyonein WA is keen for summer give me a call at Boating Hardware
ask for Ben, 9337 9900

Cheers
