Hi Folks,

I just bought a pair of 2011 naish kites with shift system bars and was wondering if anyone knows how to lengthen the bars? I have a few ideas but knowing my luck i'd break them.

Cheers, Dan

You mean aside from flipping the little plastic piece at the bottom of the bar?
If the bars really too short for your liking then i'd be swapping it for a longer bar.

AS Koma says flip the plastic bits around the lines attach to. You have to pull the foam sleeves up the leader lines to get them out.
It is all in the instructions you should have got with your kite

It's more of a "virtual", adjustment of the bar rather than a physical lengthening of the bar. Flip the vario ends out using a looped piece of line and hooking it under the tabs as shown. Spin it 180 deg to get +/- 1" at each end to change from 19"to21".
