Hi All,

Im new to Auz and new to Kitesurfing... Just started out and would be great to meet some beginers in WA... Im happy to go down to Safety Bay or North of Perth..

Hey Joe,

I am in the same situation, moved here from the UK a month ago....very much a beginner, looking for buddies. I am in Cottesloe and been down to Leighton Beach once, though I can't say I achieved much except a lot of body dragging and looking for my board....

How are you? Monday morning and im well and truely battered and bruised from weekend on the water!!!

Im defo keen for meeting up, im thinking of going Weds/Thurs evening this week... Unfortunatly I cant go next weekend as im in Sydney.

Hey,

How you guys going? Just started kitesurfing as well even though i've been in perth my whole life. Had a lesson at melville water and it was awesome for beginners, nice and flat. Its shallow too so if and when you come off it doesn't take forever to start again. Hope this helps might see you there sometime.

Well that sounds better than the few minutes I managed to get up for on Saturday in the waves down at Leighton beach. That all ended quickly in a lost board!

Fortunately this is a great place and someone rescued it and took it home so I got it back the next day...

Joe - I'll pm you. Weds eve might be an option - wind looks promising - though I will have no wheels. Josh, cheers for the tip.

Morning All, Im relatively new to Kitesurfing too. Starting to get the hang of it but would be keen to meet other people at a similar level to head out there with. I can travel north or south - also a keen surfer.

Well id be happy to meet up this wed at Melville, I can get there at 4.30 if that suits anyone. It's a great beginners spot that's where i learnt.
