For a first kite best not to buy a Ferrari.. The reason it is priced to sell.. Not many people interested in this style...
As CHC suggests google.. The Vegas is a C Kite.. This means it is designed to move fast and perform.. It can very easily and quickly generate alot of power= g8 with experience lousy 4 learning.. Having said that all kites were C like when I learnt..
The bulk of the. Market today is backed off on pure C for control stability and simpler handling...
Most beginner kites are more than capable of being used for every thing except top end trick & wake style in competition... So all rounder.. Park and ride style is tied to learning.. Designed to mostly get you going and not requiring too much concentration so you can focus on your board and where u r going... Also good for surfing ; they drift down wind well and tend to not deliver power surges.. Kite world web site should have a review of most main stream kites for last 5+ years..
A C kite not good to learn on especially on the beach.. Too easy to not know what to do when things go wrong..and get hurt or hit others...
Cheers
