Just a heads up regarding the State titles in SA.

I would not expect new persons in the sport to enter the comp but the State titles weekend does provide a great opportunity to discuss, watch and ask questions regarding all aspects of kiting, especially in SA.

Please respect the competitor's focus during their competition heats and be mindful of the comp area. (comp organisers can direct you with most enquiries).

The comp area would not be the beach for a newbie to kite at while the comp is in progress.

The after party could also provide more info than most require

SA 2010 SAKSA State Titles.
6th and 7th March at the Grange Sailing Club !!!!
Competition from 12 Sat and Sun….

Presentation and comp after party at the club on Sunday night after the finals !
I hope to meet others still learning the sport & have a chat.

Cheers

Newbies, dont wory about getting in the road, there is a good amature and junior class that restricts the level of riding a fair bit that a lot of people that have been riding all season would be more than capable to enter. By entering the comp you get to go in the draw to win most of the big prizes that could be benaficial to you like a new slingshot kite. You dont have to be that good if you can do some jumps or backrolls get down there and enter you never know you may do well. I think it is $50 on the day and you get a t-shirt if they have any left you need to be down there by 11am saturday to nominate and 12.00 for the rider briefing then just wait for your heat and get on the water. if you stuff up there is another second chance draw on sunday so get down there and show us what you have got.
