I use a dakine fusion XXL. very comfortable with plenty of back support for larger people.

The down side is if you want to do fancy tricks a seat harness won't slide around your waste and toe side is more difficult.

done the rounds with harnesses, for me the dakine vega and the mystic boa, the vega gives you the support but is lightweight the mystic was the most secure and locked in feel due to the boa system, twist to lock and pull to slacken even on the go, beware of the dakine spreaders though they are renowned for snapping ive done a feew and im only 89kgs,

I'd go shorts. There is ion, dakine and liquid force. All are pretty good.

XXL harnesses are hard to come by... especially in seat. NONE of the shorts come in XXL that I've been able to find.
Fusion is ok but needs a bit to break it in.
Mystic Supporter is less restrictive around the legs but as prone to wedgies as the Fusion, if not more so.
OR Session XL would be good but only for 40 inch waists or less.

North has a seat harness that might be ok.... what can you try on in stores near you?

I've been rocking a Renegade (waist) for a few months now, and can live with it riding up... it's less annoying than wedgies that's for sure. It's an XXL too, and is starting to break in nicely so I only really keep the Fusion for the spare Dakine spreader bar...

They do XXL and "56" whatever that might be, but the gut strap doesn't really stretch as much as the Dakine ones... I'd like to try that harness though.

Prolimit look like good harnesses BUT I'm not fond of the clicker-type spreader bars...

So I have stuck with my old Pro Limit "Combo" harness that i used to use windsurfing ( didnt realise it was a kite harness till i noticed the handle on the back ) have just added a dakine pad and spreader bar . Lets see how long 135kgs takes to blow it apart .
