Does anyone know what type of plastic is used for the small elbow joints along the LE? Have tried google but not had any luck. Thanks.

Probably a lot cheaper to buy the stuff by the meter. But I'm not sure what type rubber it is.

I don't plan on buying anything, just need to know what kind of poly the elbows are made from so I can repair them as mine have started to split and leak. The elbows are not part of the repair pack, I think they come already attached to the bladder.

If you've had a respectable amount of use just order a new set
If not contact your dealer or ozone direct
These are a no wear point on your kite unlike most parts, so if they're splitting or cracking
It'd be uv exposure or poor casting in manufacture

Correct, I assumed uv damage!

I appreciate the tips/advice but without sounding like an ungrateful t***er I'd just like to know what material the elbows are made from. Thanks.

I know UV penetrates but you wouldn't think they would cop too much UV. 99% of the time under the canopy

Bunnings sell 6mm wide tubing by the meter. I've used these as replacements without a problem. Cheap too!

Assume you mean one of these kinda things not the actual tubing?

Yeah that's the one. All good now, used a soldering iron to 'weld' up the splits/holes n beef em up a bit.

We see a few of these valves split from a few brands. Sometimes it's due to inverting the kite. Sometimes the way it's packed away.

You just need to replace the valves.

Nice job if you got that to work! Splits on the nozzles are an indication the valve is dying. Soon it will pop or peel off. Best to get a replacement.

I highly recommend these guys...
