There seems to be many short videos on early stages of kitesurfing. But just wondering am I going to get much better insight and tips if I was to buy this beginner and intermediate series.
Seems to all add up and would only do it if was general consensus that it delivers value over all the free content.

Wind so fickle at the moment, I would rather be just getting out there but seem to be in wrong place wrong time.

The wind and weather I have a fair handle on having raced various sail craft for 20 odd years at state and national level, flying a kite whilst operating a little board is a new experience.

thanks pmk but I'm not picking up on the link as to whether u think the vid is worth while in your response. I'm not that bright either tho!

I'm pretty much just starting out and have bought some of the progression clips using the app. I personally really like them. Very detailed and well explained. They're not super cheap but for the price of a few beers I reckon they're worth it. Have you got the phone app? Try one area that you're focusing on and see how it goes...

Yeah thanks, I've been using willyweather, but wind strength has just come in along way under the forecast each time I've planned to go out. Just typical for autumn wind can come in and die out quickly.

Definitely worth looking at the Progression videos - particularly if you are heading for some down time due to no wind. While it's no substitute for getting out on the water, it's a good way to help visualise and reinforce the things you want to focus on in your next session.

You can't handle the truth on that

'wrong place wrong time' kites are more sensitive than sails in that they require better quality wind (location) first up, once mastered basic riding in good wind, the '5 next tricks/moves for beginners' freely posted on this site is the place to start, if you havent got the basics then lessons or mate tips help more imo
