I'm thinking about using actual small kite as a trainer. I can either get 3.5 hydra or 3m actual kite lets say Best/Cabrina kite. Which one is better?

I'm a young guy and and advanced windsurfer. I know the wind real well. May even want to mess around with my high wind windsurf board and a 3meter using it as a skim board after I'm super comfortable with kite..
Is it easier to damage actual 3m kite as apposed to hydra/ traner kite and which one needs less wind to fly/stay in the air ??

I took a lesson and it wasn't very efficient and a bit expensive too in my liking. I feel that I need to learn to control smallish kite as perfect as possible since I may already have board skills from windsurfing and don't want to destroy my big kite.. or break my bones..

I only purchased a 13m new kite and very nice Crazyfly board purposely, which I'm planning to use in 10-18knots and then switch to windsurf board in more wind. At least this is the plan for nearest future. I want to be safe and will take a lesson again once I'm ready for my 13m, but need to figure out whether to get hydra trainer kite (which I can actually use in the water) or real small 3m kite to train myself..

I guess with hydra trainer I will not be able to practice some self-rescue techniques and self landing the kite...

need your advice mates ! :)

Trainer kites are designed to be trainer kites, not surfable kites. And vice versa.
Buy a proper trainer kite and forget about it.
