Okay, so here's the thing, when I did my motorboat licence some years ago, there was an interactive test that prompted you to say who had right of way in this scenario, that scenario (i.e. powerboat is emerging from your port, sail boat from your starboard, etc.).
Is there something similar for Kiteboarding? It seems there is some potential apathy at driving the right of way rules home, and we all have plenty of time in front of a computer to practice this understanding.
If there isn't one, would there be any interest from a non-for-profit into developing one? I guess it would need IKO or similar backing to ensure it has credibility.
It could cover things like launching, riding a wave, navigational markers etc. And could have some basic animation such as (and no offence guys) those used in the Progression 1 DVD (in the right of way section) to illustrate the point.
I'd happily volunteer my time to come up with sample scenarios and test the app.
Thoughts?
